Dr. Wong is the Vice-Chairman and Co-founder of AsiaSoft. He is a Distinguished Fellow of the Hong Kong Computer Society. | #7 | Caritas Computer Recycling Workshop | A group of final year students from CIS stream participated in the visit. An introduction to the computer recycling project of HK was given to the students by officers from Environmental Protection Department. Then a guided tour to the Caritas Computer Recycling Workshop by Project Manager of Caritas Youth and Community Service Section. [20 Apr 2012] |
| #8 | Pacnet Visit | 9 students from network administration stream and 1 staff participated in the visit. Talks on Hk & PRC network infrastructure, different teleco services, operations of network operation centre were conducted. In addition, a tour to one of the Pacnet data centres in Chai Wan was arranged. [Apr 2012] |
| #9 | British Telecom (BT) Data Centre Visit | 5 students from CIS and NA streams, and 3 staff joined the visit with team from ICT/TY. An introduction to data centre facilities, products and services such as teleconference system was given. [14 Mar 2012] |
| #10 | 2011/12 CYMA Charity Fund Scholarship Presentation Ceremony | Our students Chiang Ka Kin (41909F), Lo Tung Ni (41302), Poon Ngai Billy (41909F), Tsang Shek Ming (41909F) got the CYMA Charity Fund Scholarship and attended the presentation ceremony at the CYMA Memorial Hall of IVE (KC).
