The Department of Computing and Information Management provides vocational education and training for students at post-secondary 7 and post-secondary 5 to meet the need of the industry for well-educated and well-trained IT manpower. The Higher Diploma courses offered are primarily focused on the practical aspects of Information Technology, particularly with regards to the network applications and the development of software applications to support and used by all types of businesses.
The department has five computer laboratories: all equipped with up-to-date software and hardware, and are built for specific training and skills development for our students. These facilities include the Remote Accessible Network Resource Center that allows any time any where access to its state-of-the-art networking equipment; the System Development and Administration Laboratory that resembles a business workplace to facilitate students' practical and project work.
